On Saturday 25 July, The Shared Table comes to Spring for the first time this year, bringing together a community of like-minded guests around a shared appreciation for seasonal food, thoughtful farming and the people who make both possible.

Taking place across Heckfield Place, Home Farm and Spring, The Shared Table series celebrates the people, ideas and influences that have shaped Skye Gyngell’s philosophy, bringing together those who continue to inspire the way we cook, grow and gather around the table today.

This edition honours the longstanding influence of the Slow Food movement, reflecting many of the values that guided Skye’s work throughout her career: a respect for seasonality, a commitment to exceptional producers and a belief that food can connect people more deeply to the land and one another.

Hosted by Spring’s Culinary Director, Eleanor Henson, alongside Shane Holland, Executive Chair of Slow Food in the UK, the evening will explore those shared values. Through its global network of farmers, producers, cooks and advocates, Slow Food champions food that is good, clean and fair, supporting local food cultures, biodiversity and more thoughtful ways of producing and sharing food.

Drawing on produce from Fern Verrow and Heckfield Home Farm at the height of summer, Eleanor will create a three-course menu celebrating the season and the growers behind it. Menu details will be shared closer to the event. Throughout the evening, Shane and Spring’s Head Sommelier, Monique Ziervogel, will present a selection of wines chosen in the spirit of Slow Food, available by the glass or bottle.

Tickets are £95 per person and include a welcome drink and three-course supper.

The Shared Table suppers are designed to encourage conversation between our hosts and guests. Both individual and group bookings may be seated at communal tables. If you wish to be seated with a specific party, please email [email protected] to specify and we will do our best to accommodate.
